What is Whittlegolf and who is Glenn Whittle?
Glenn Whittle, the name behind Whittlegolf.com is regarded as one of Australia's leading golf coaches who specialises in teaching the short game.
Over the past fifteen years Glenn has held a number of reputable positions within the golf industry including, Head Coach of the Jack Newton Junior Golf Foundation, Manager – National Coaching Programs-PGA of Australia and he is currently the Head Coach of the New South Wales Institute of Sport Golf Program.
Over ten PGA Professionals, Tour players, PGA Trainees and many Club golfers have chosen Glenn as their coach and enjoy his vast knowledge and enthusiasm for helping golfers reach their full potential
Does Glenn teach a system or method?
Although Glenn does have a particular swing style that he uses as a guide he does not teach a method that he forces each of his clients to adopt. Glenn has a great eye for determining what a player needs to do to improve and play more consistent golf
Where does Glenn teach?
The Ridge Golf Course and Driving Range in Sydney ,the suburb is Barden Ridge which is approximately 5 minutes from Menai in Sydney’s south western suburbs
How long does it take from the Sydney CBD to get to the Ridge Golf Course?
Approximately 45 minutes
What day’s does Glenn Teach?
Glenn teaches on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. We encourage you to book early to avoid disappointment as he is very busy with his NSW Institute of Sport players and commitments
What are the facilities like?
Absolutely fantastic! The Ridge offers a state of the art undercover driving range, huge short game area and practice bunker, coaching academy and a brand new resort style golf course
How much does Glenn charge for a golf lesson?
All of Glenn’s lesson and program prices are listed on the Instruction page of this website
Are there different types of lessons?
Yes, we offer a number of private and group programs, everything from a half hour through to a full day
What happens if it is raining?
The driving range and coaching academy at the Ridge is completely under cover so Glenn still gives a large number of lessons on rainy days. If you are unsure we encourage you to call the Ridge on (02) 9541 4960
Can I pay by credit card or use EFT?
Yes we accept all major credit cards excluding Amex and Diners. We can also provide you with our EFT Bank details to transfer money electronically if this is your preferred method of payment
Is there a cancellation fee if I need to cancel?
If you cancel prior to 24 hours of your lesson or program time no, if it is within 24 hours you will be charged a 50% of the lesson or program price cancellation fee.
Can I buy a gift voucher for golf lessons with Glenn?
Absolutely, just call the Ridge and speak to our friendly pro shop staff about purchasing a golflesson gift voucher and we will send or email it out to you
